Lady Gaga gets garbled on Malaysian Radio Reflection

My reflection on this article, well, first of all, I was very unhappy when I read about it, not because I don’t like gays, it is because I, myself, am very sensitive to this subject. I don’t see what is wrong with being gay, or lesbian or whatever. I do not believe it is a big deal to be gay. Also, I personally don’t believe that it is a choice. I believe that being gay is something that you were born with, maybe something happened to your gene or something, I don’t know. Scientists have been actually searching for the “Gay Gene”. When you ask a gay person, why did you choose to be gay? Do you honestly think they can answer that? It’s like me asking you (if you’re a guy) Why did you choose to like girls? Can you answer that? I think it is exactly the same, it’s nature. You were born this way, and there is nothing wrong with that. I mean, it’s like being retarded, can you blame the person for being retarded, of course not, because they were born that way. Same thing with gays, can you blame them for being gay? No, you know why? Because they were born this way. I find it absolutely stupid for people to be against gays or homosexuals. They need to grow up, accept the new concept and move on, nobody cares. We are all the same. We live under the same moon, the same sun. How are we not? I know that some people are very religious, and some religions do have a descrimination against gays. I, myself, am a Christian, but I don’t go everything by the book, the holy Bible. Must I note that the Bible, was written by humans, not by Gods. Also, the Bible had been rewritten thousands of times, there are bound to be some changes that the Pope had made. How can we go everything by the Book? Us humans, we feel things, how can we let a book tell us what is right and what is wrong? Especially when the Bible definitely has some biased in some sort of way. Back to my topic, even though many religions have a thing against homosexuals, but remember that it was ages ago. Things change. At that time, maybe gays were a “bad” thing. Who knows? But as centuries past, we need to accept the new concept and move on. I’m not saying we should forget everything about culture and stuff, but there may be some stuff that are better off to forget and move on.

Macbeth

This week, my reflection is going to be about Macbeth. So basically Macbeth he was the Lord of Glamis, and once he came back from a battle in Norway, he met three witches along the way and they tell him that he will be king in the future. Now, I am not going to explain the whole story because everybody knows about it. My reflection on Macbeth is that he used to be a very kind, caring gentleman. If it weren't for the three witches, I believe he would've still been king sooner or later. I believe what changed him was that he knew that he was going to be king in the future. Temptation and greed had taken over him. It had turned him into a completely different person, he had lost his innocence. There is this quote by Elbert Hubbard "Men are not punished for their sins, but by them. " This, I believe clearly states this story. Whatever Macbeth has done to people, he will get it back. I feel like Shakspeare is trying to tell us something, I believe he's trying to tell us how to keep us sane and our principles and not let our selfish desire take over us.
